Unkai-no-sato

紙ヒコーキタワー 雲海

From the top of Tsuka-ga-tao Ridge, standing at an elevation of 550 meters (1,805 feet) and surrounded by mountains, it is possible to view this sea of clouds in the fall. During this season, day–night temperature differences result in radiant cooling at night, causing water particles in the air to drop in temperature and form blankets of fog just before daybreak.

This uniquely enchanting sight can only be viewed in the autumn.
